how do I set up the app for my cat?

it's simple! open Games for Cats!, place your phone or tablet on a flat, stable surface (like a table or the floor), choose a game from the main screen, and let your cat start playing. your cat will tap, swat, and pounce at the targets on screen. always supervise your cat during play sessions.

which surface is best for playing?

a flat, non-slip surface works best. we recommend placing the device on a table, floor, or low coffee table. avoid uneven or elevated surfaces where the device could fall if your cat gets excited.

how do I start a game?

on the main screen, scroll through the games — Laser Pointer, Mouse Chase, Cat Fishing, Bird Catch, Squirrel Hunt, and Fly Frenzy — and tap any game card to start. place your device down, and let your cat take over!

what games are available?

Games for Cats! features six unique games:

• 🔴 Laser Pointer — a glowing red dot that darts across a dark screen
• 🐭 Mouse Chase — a sneaky mouse scurrying around for your cat to catch
• 🐟 Cat Fishing — slippery fish swimming across the screen
• 🐦 Bird Catch — a fluttering bird your cat can try to grab
• 🐿️ Squirrel Hunt — a speedy squirrel in a warm forest backdrop
• 🪰 Fly Frenzy — a buzzing fly zipping across the screen to swat

what is the 2x score mode?

the 2x score mode doubles the points your cat earns during a game session. tap the "2x" button in the top-right corner of any game screen to activate it. it's great for more advanced or enthusiastic cats!

how are high scores tracked?

each game tracks its own high score, displayed on the game card on the main screen and in the "HIGH SCORES" section below the games grid. your cat's best score is saved automatically after each session.

how do I exit a game?

tap the X button in the top-left corner of any game screen to end the session and return to the main menu.

my cat isn't interested in the games — what should I try?

every cat is different! here are some tips:

• try different games — some cats prefer fast-moving targets (Laser Pointer, Fly Frenzy) while others like larger prey (Squirrel Hunt, Mouse Chase)
• play at a time when your cat is most active (usually early morning or evening)
• gently tap the screen near the target to draw your cat's attention to the game
• make sure the screen brightness is turned up for better visibility
• try placing the device on the floor if your cat prefers low surfaces

how long should my cat play?

we recommend keeping sessions to 10–15 minutes at a time. like all play, it's best in moderation. if your cat shows signs of overstimulation (excessive panting, aggression, or distress), end the session and give them rest time. consult your vet if you have any concerns about your cat's behavior.

will my cat scratch or damage the screen?

we recommend using a tempered glass screen protector to protect your device during play. most cats' paw pads are soft enough not to scratch modern screens, but claws can occasionally cause marks. Games for Cats! is not responsible for any device damage.

what's included in Games for Cats! Pro?

what are the subscription prices?

Games for Cats! Pro is available as:

• weekly: $0.99 per week (auto-renewing)
• yearly: $9.99 per year (best value — save 80%)

how do I cancel my subscription?

you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. you'll keep pro access until the end of your current billing period.

how do I restore my purchases?

go to the Settings tab in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." make sure you're signed in to the same App Store / Google Play account used for the original purchase.

can I get a refund?

refund requests must be made through your device's app store:

• iOS: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• android: contact Google Play customer support

Games for Cats! does not control app store refund decisions. we are unable to issue refunds directly.

the app crashed or isn't loading — what do I do?

• force-close the app and reopen it
• restart your device
• check for app updates in the App Store or Google Play
• uninstall and reinstall the app (note: local high score data may be reset)

my high scores disappeared — what happened?

high scores are stored locally on your device. if you reinstalled the app or cleared app data, scores may have been reset. if you believe scores were lost due to a technical error, please contact our support team.

the screen isn't responding to my cat's paws — what should I try?

• make sure your screen is clean and free of debris
• remove any thick or non-touch-compatible screen protectors
• increase screen brightness for better visibility
• check that touch sensitivity is set correctly in your device settings
• some devices have "glove mode" or "touch sensitivity" settings — try enabling them
